A former policeman sexually abused young girls who visited his home to play with his sons, a court has heard.
The back garden of Julian Glynn's police house in Sapcote, Leics, was a popular play area for local youngsters in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
This is where the father of three is alleged to have tricked five girls, aged seven to 14, into sex games.
Mr Glynn, 47, denies all 13 counts of indecent assault and gross indecency, dating from 1988 and 1994.
At the time of the alleged offences, Mr Glynn was a Leicestershire Police officer.
The jury at Northampton Crown Court was told the defendant is also accused of an indecent assault on a sixth girl, aged 15, while he helped train cadets.
