Schools get cash for sports pitch
Two schools in Leicestershire are to share a £600,000 National Lottery grant to improve sports facilities.

Winstanley Community College in Braunstone and King Edward VII Community College in Coalville are both to have a new synthetic grass pitch.

It is part of Leicestershire County Council's programme to improve PE and sporting facilities.

Sports clubs and other local schools will have access to the facilities, which should be ready by next summer.
