Two lanes closed for repair works
Belgrave flyover
The flyover was damaged by a lorry
One of the busiest routes into Leicester city centre is being affected by roadworks.

The Belgrave flyover is to undergo structural repairs, two months after a lorry crashed into it.

The city council says two lanes under the flyover will be shut for up to six days, between 0930 BST and 1530 BST.

It is the second time this year the flyover has been shut due to an accident - on 16 July a lorry carrying a digger crashed into it.

The council warned at the time that it would have to close the flyover for further inspections and repairs.
