Man dies in nightclub attack
A murder investigation is under way after a man was stabbed in a nightclub in Leicester in the early hours of New Year's Day.

Harry Botton, 35, from Newark, Nottinghamshire, was attacked at the Lounge One Club on Welford Road at 0400 GMT on Thursday.

He was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary where he died from his injuries.

A post-mortem examination has been carried out at the hospital, but the results have not yet been released.

Two suspects

The nightclub was cordoned off while forensic examinations took place.

Leicestershire Police are trying to trace two suspects, including one who is described as black, around 6 ft tall with a number of gold teeth.

The other suspect is also black and around 5 ft 10 ins tall with a medium build.

Detectives want to speak to anyone who was in the Lounge One Club or the area around it at the time of the incident.
