A video capturing the moment a police patrol car burst into flames killing two officers has been shown at a murder trial.
Pc Andrew Munn, 37, from Derbyshire, and Pc Bryan Moore, 39, from Leicestershire, both died after their car was hit by a Transit van on the A42 in Leicestershire.
Leayon Dudley, 39, from Birmingham, who is facing two murder charges, denies ramming his van deliberately into the back of the parked patrol car.
The jury at Stafford Crown Court on Tuesday watched footage of the crash filmed by a police helicopter.
Mr Dudley deliberately drove the van at about 80 mph into the marked police car as the two police officers were getting out of it, the court was told.

The car burst into flames and was hurtled 30 metres along the road.
The white van ended up on its side further down the road.
Mr Dudley was helped out of his van by officers and arrested at the scene.
His van had been followed from Solihull in the West Midlands by police after it was seen speeding, the court earlier heard.
Mr Dudley, of Oakhurst Road, Acocks Green, Birmingham, has pleaded not guilty to the
murder of the two officers.
The trial continues.
