Woman charged over man's death in Leyland

A woman has been charged with the murder of a man who was found dead after a New Year's Eve party.

Susan Kenny, 33, is accused of murdering Kevin Rogers, 23, who was killed by a single knife wound to the back in Leyland, Lancashire.

Mr Rogers died in the street after the party on Edgehill Crescent in the early hours of New Year's Day.

Ms Kenny, of Manor House Close, Leyland, will appear before Chorley Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Eleven other people who were also arrested were released without charge.
