More arrests follow fire deaths

Two more men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a house fire in Lancashire which killed a mother and father and injured their children.

A 25-year-old and a 19-year-old were detained on Thursday in East London. They are both being questioned on suspicion of murder.

Abdullah Mohammed, 41, was killed in the Blackburn fire in October. His wife, Ayesha, 39, died a week later.

A 23-year-old, arrested on Tuesday, remains in custody.

Another man, a 22-year-old, has been released on police bail.

Two men have already been charged with murder and remanded in custody.

The couple's 14-year-old daughter, Siddiqah, remains in a stable condition in hospital in Manchester following the fire.

Their nine-year-old son, Muhammad, has been released and is now recovering with his extended family.

Their eldest son, Ashraf, was away at university at the time of the attack on 21 October.
