Two more men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a house fire in Lancashire killed a mother and father and injured their children.

A 23-year-old was detained on Tuesday night and a 22-year-old was held in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Forest Gate, east London.

Abdullah Mohammed, 41, was killed in the Blackburn fire in October. His wife, Ayesha, 39, died a week later.

Police have been granted an extra 36 hours to question them.

Two men have already been charged with murder and remanded in custody.

The couple's 14-year-old daughter, Siddiqah, remains in a stable condition in hospital in Manchester following the fire.

Their nine-year-old son, Muhammad, has been released and is now recovering with his extended family.

Their eldest son, Ashraf, was away at university at the time of the attack on 21 October.
