Body is found inside burning car

A body has been found in a burning car in Blackpool.

Officers were called to Squires Gate Lane in the early hours after reports a car was on fire.

Lancashire Police confirmed a body had been found inside the car, and that the death is currently being treated as "unexplained".

Road closures are in place on Squires Gate Lane, between St Annes Road and Lytham Road, but do not affect access to Blackpool airport, police said.
