Crimewatch helps catch wanted men

Four of Lancashire's most wanted men have been arrested following a month-long appeal on the Crimewatch Roadshow.

The force released images of its 45 most wanted faces throughout the programme, resulting in four being located.

Among those taken into custody were two burglars and all four were wanted on prison recall.

Insp John Clucas said: "Those who break the law and then fail to comply with us must face the consequences."

Along with Lancashire Police, eight other forces followed up sightings and information.

He was arrested on the 18 June as he returned to the UK from abroad at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Insp Clucas added: "The warning is to wanted people that the net is closing in and we expect a number of further arrests in the near future."
