A dark coloured small car was seen on CCTV near the attack scene
Police investigating a serious sex attack on two teenage girls in Blackpool have released details of a car they want to find.
The 14-year-olds were assaulted on West Park Drive near Stanley Park on 27 February after four men in a vehicle pulled up by the victims.
The men struck up a conversation with the girls and then assaulted them.
A small dark coloured car, possibly a Fiat Punto, was caught on CCTV in the area at the time, police said.
Det Insp Steve Gardner, from Lancashire Police, said: " This is a significant line of enquiry and I am convinced that the people in that vehicle would have information which may assist with the investigation.
"The vehicle is dark in colour and described as being in good condition. It is likely that it is a two door model and could be a Fiat Punto.
"It is my understanding that there may have been four white male youths in this vehicle and I would like to speak with any of those occupants or anybody who has any information which could assist in identifying the occupants or the vehicle."
