Arrest after bow and arrow calls

Armed police closed off a road in Lancashire after reports of a man with a bow and arrow.

Officers were called to Broomfield Road in Fleetwood on Tuesday afternoon after receiving several calls from members of the public.

The road was shut off and officers recovered a bow and four arrows from a nearby flat.

A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and is due to be questioned by detectives.
