Man convicted of stabbing murder

Cromie will be sentenced next month

A man has been convicted of the murder of David Cornall, who was stabbed in the back as he walked home through a Lancashire park.

Mr Cornall, 30, died in hospital after he was attacked as he returned from the centre of Preston to his Ribbleton home on 12 February.

Liam Cromie, 20, from the Callon area, was found guilty of his murder at Preston Crown Court.

He is due to be sentenced on 21 November.
