Nine more arrested in drug raids

Nine more suspected drug dealers have been arrested by police cracking down on drug crime in Lancashire.

Raids were carried out on properties in Queen's Promenade, Woodfield Road, Peter Street and Rossetti Avenue in Blackpool early on Thursday.

Nine men were arrested on suspicion of committing class A drugs offences and are due to be questioned later.

Two of the arrests were made at Deerbolt and Lancaster Farms Young Offenders' Institution.

Thirty people have already been charged with 132 offences during similar raids in Lancashire this week.
