Police want to speak to this man about the sex attack in Blackpool

Detectives have released an e-fit image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a sexual attack on an 18-year-old woman in Blackpool.

She had been out with a female friend in Roxy's bar on Queen Street on Saturday night and had left with two men when she was attacked in an alley.

The man in the e-fit is white, slim, 5ft 7in (1.7m) tall and aged about 21.

He had blonde-tipped, light brown, spiky hair, was wearing a dark long-sleeved shirt and dark trousers.

He spoke with an east Lancashire accent.

Det Insp Frank Walmsley said: "We are very keen to speak to this man and would urge anybody who may recognise him to contact police immediately.

"Blackpool is a safe place to socialise in and events like this are rare."

The second man police want to speak to in connection with the attack is said to be between 5ft 8in (1.72m) to 6ft (1.8m) tall, slim and with short brown hair with blonde streaks.

He was wearing a v-neck long-sleeved blue jumper and jeans.
