Charges over speeding fine fraud

Seven people have been charged by police in Lancashire investigating speeding fine fraud.

The investigation centred on people suspected of "offloading the blame for speed camera offences", Lancashire police said.

Six men, aged between 35 and 62, and a 28-year-old woman are charged with perverting the course of justice and are due before Blackburn magistrates.

Seven men, including an 80-year-old, and two women have been bailed.

All those arrested, charged or bailed are from Blackburn.
