Woman found dead in toilet block

Police are trying to uncover events leading up to the death of a woman in a toilet block in Lancaster.

Lisa Briggs, 27, was found collapsed in the toilets at St Nicholas Arcade on Wednesday afternoon.

Lancashire police said tests carried out to find out how Ms Briggs died have proved inconclusive.

Police said Ms Briggs was well-known in the city and they are appealing for anyone with information about her or her movements that day to come forward.
