Two charged over crime game theft

GTA IV
Grand Theft Auto IV went on sale in shops at midnight

Two men have been charged after a teenager was robbed of a computer game which he had bought moments after its midnight release.

The 18-year-old and his friend had bought Grand Theft Auto IV from the Blockbuster video shop in Leyland, Lancashire, early on 29 April.

But moments after leaving the shop he was robbed.

Two men, aged 18 and 21, from Leyland, will appear before Chorley magistrates on Friday charged with robbery.

Grand Theft Auto IV was released on 29 April, with some shops opening late the night before to meet expected demand.
