Strike ballot for suspended nurse

The ballot will open on Wednesday
|
Almost 700 health workers in Manchester are to be balloted to see whether they will strike in protest at the suspension of a nurse.
Karen Reissman was suspended by Manchester Mental Health trust five weeks ago.
Unison claims she is being targeted because she is a shop steward and has spoken out against cuts in services
The union will launch the ballot on Wednesday and it will close again on 9 August. The results will follow later.
