Horse freed from underneath lorry
Firefighters in Lancashire have freed a horse trapped under a lorry after it slipped underneath.

Fire crews from Hyndburn were called to the Huncoat area of Accrington on Saturday evening.

The filly had slipped on a metal grille and then slid under the vehicle, which was parked on Enfield Road.

A vet and the RSPCA attended as the horse was released. It suffered no injuries and was expected to return to its paddock on Sunday.
