Woman denies killing her husband

Mr Osliffe was stabbed to death by his new wife, it is alleged
A college lecturer has appeared in court accused of stabbing her husband to death.

Catherine Osliffe, from Whalley, near Clitheroe, Lancashire, is charged with the murder of her husband, Roger, a week after their return from honeymoon.

Mrs Osliffe, 34, denies murdering her 35-year-old husband in June 2004.

Preston Crown Court was told Mrs Osliffe told police that her husband had stabbed himself. The case continues.
