Police say the death of a teenager whose body was found on a beach in Lancashire is "a mystery".
Anthony David Murphy, 19, from Clayton in Manchester, was on holiday in Bispham with his family. His body was found in the water on Saturday morning.
Mr Murphy left his family on Friday night to go for a drink.
Lancashire Police said there was no indication that Mr Murphy had been attacked but appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Det Insp Tony Conboye said: "Anthony was a fit young man - I am told he was a strong swimmer.

"There were no obvious marks or signs on his body that indicate he has been the victim of foul play. But how he ended up in the sea is a mystery I am eager to solve."
Mr Murphy and his family were staying at the Boston Hotel in Bispham - about half a mile from where he was found.
He is described as 6ft 2in tall and of a medium build with short brown hair.
He was wearing dark blue jeans and a beige T-shirt with a logo on it which said "echo unlimited".
