Two bodies found on railway lines
The bodies of two men have been found on railway lines in Lancashire.

Investigations into the deaths - which are not thought to be suspicious - caused disruption across the rail network on Wednesday.

A train driver reported a body on the track between Preston and Salwick just after 8am. It is thought the man had been hit by a train.

About 30 minutes later, a man was killed on a level crossing at Hest Bank, near Morecambe.

Rail services across Lancashire were affected, with the West Coast mainline closed for almost two hours.

British Transport Police are investigating the circumstances of the deaths.
