Gamekeepers' cheeky charity caper
Neil Jones
Neil Jones: "As the beers went down it seemed a very good idea"
A group of gamekeepers posing naked in the countryside have been catching hikers unawares.

The gamekeepers from the Ribble Valley, Lancashire, have taken a lead from the hit movie Calendar Girls to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Relief.

"It was my wife's idea and I mentioned it to a friend, and as the beers went down it seemed a very good idea," said joint organiser Neil Jones.

The calendar was due to be launched at Blenheim Palace on Friday.

Mr December was doing his photograph down by the roadside and a group of cyclists nearly crashed

"The whole thing has been hilarious. We did a shoot in a local pub and just to make it look realistic we poured some beers out - this was at half past five in the morning," said Mr Jones, who is also "Mr May.".

"One guy was that nervous he drank three pints before we had even taken the picture."

According to Scott Paterson, who is "Mr February", the gamekeepers' antics have been the talk of the countryside.

"I've quite enjoyed it even though I'm quite shy.

"Mr December had quite a funny time because he was doing his photograph down by the roadside and a group of cyclists were coming past and nearly crashed."
