Five people have been charged with election fraud by police in Lancashire.
They will appear before magistrates next month to face charges of defrauding the returning officer of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.
The charges follow an investigation into allegations of election fraud during the May 2002 local elections in the borough.
Those accused are due to appear before Blackburn Magistrates Court on 14 July.
