Reducing nuisance at bus station
Shutters have been installed in alcoves at Ormskirk bus station to cut out anti-social behaviour and make travellers feel safer.

Assaults, theft, under-age drinking and vagrancy have affected the area around the bus station in the last few months.

Ormskirk town centre's community beat manager Pc Ewan Wells said the aim is to stop people congregating there.

The alcoves will be closed from 7.30pm to 7.30am to discourage loitering and youths making a nuisance.
