Girl missing since Halloween
Concerns are growing for the safety of a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since Halloween.

Charlene Downes, from Blackpool, was last seen with friends on the town's North Pier.

She was on her way to the Carousel on the pier, when she disappeared on the night of 31 October.

A member of the public reported seeing a girl of Charlene's description sleeping rough in Blackpool bus station on Monday.

'Out of character'

Lancashire Police said Charlene, of Buchanan Street, was wearing a black jumper with white diamonds on it and black trousers covered in sequins. She had a grey shawl around her shoulders.

"We are growing increasingly concerned for Charlene's health and wellbeing, as it is out of character for her to go missing for this amount of time," a spokesman said.

"We would like to stress that she is not in any trouble and just want to know that she is safe."

Anyone with information on Charlene's whereabouts should contact Blackpool police.
