Young cyclist hurt in crash
A 12-year-old cyclist is critically ill in hospital after a road accident in Morecambe.
A Ford Fiesta van collided with the boy and with a 15-year-old girl pedestrian on South Road on Tuesday night.
The driver and the pedestrian suffered minor injuries but the boy was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary to be treated for multiple injuries.
Lancashire Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at about 1945 BST to come forward.
Burst water main causes delays
A burst water main was causing flooding problems in Clitheroe on Tuesday.
Police were called to Well Terrace Close to the town's Grammar School at 0320 BST.
The area was badly flooded, and the water was threatening a number of nearby properties.
Water engineers stopped the water rising but the road was still closed with a local diversion in force for traffic.
Couple robbed at knifepoint
Police are investigating after a couple were robbed of thousands of pounds worth of cash and jewellery in a late night street attack.
The incident happened as they walked along Lytham Road, in Blackpool, just after 0130 BST on Sunday morning.
The woman was threatened by two men with what appeared to be a Stanley knife, say police.
The men stole more than £500 in cash, a £6,000 diamond watch and other jewellery before running off.
