Man stabbed to death in Chatham identified

A man who was found stabbed to death in a flat in Chatham has been identified by police.

The body of Antoine Denis, 66, was discovered at a property in Copperfield House, New Road, Chatham, on 9 January.

Kent Police said Mr Denis died from a single stab wound. A 43-year-old man is currently being held on suspicion of his murder at Medway police station.

A 69-year-old man, also arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

The force has asked anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
