The launch of a new passenger route between Ramsgate and Boulogne has been put back for the fourth time. Euroferries had scheduled to start the high-speed crossing on 14 November, following a series of delays. But the operator has announced the service had been hampered by "final stage operations". A spokesperson said it was their "foremost intention to resolve this matter swiftly" and apologised to its customers. 'Signing agreements' The company spokesperson said: "All Euroferries bookings affected by this matter have the option of either receiving a full refund or alternatively receiving complimentary first class upgrades for an alternative date of travel." The firm originally planned to start the service in March. Its launch was also postponed to September because of discussions over "signing agreements". Its 96m (315ft) catamaran Bonanza Express, previously used in the Canary Islands by Fred Olsen Express, has capacity for 700 people and 200 cars. A Euroferries spokesperson said the vessel would take 75 minutes to cross the channel and would make four daily crossing between Ramsgate to Boulogne. The company had intended to introduce a second ferry on the route next year to increase the frequency of crossings.
