£3.6m upgrade boost for bus fleet

New Stagecoach bus for Triangle route
The new buses offer better access for those with mobility problems

Buses on a route in east Kent have been rebranded and upgraded following a £3.6m investment from the company Stagecoach.

The Triangle service links Canterbury with Whitstable and Herne Bay.

Twenty-one of the company's 25 new double deck buses were introduced on the route this week.

Six of the original Triangle route buses, introduced in 2004, have been rebranded and modified for access for passengers with mobility problems.
