Man held over 'collapse murder'

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after another man collapsed and died in Kent.

Officers said a man, aged 31, who has not yet been named, was found in Clarendon Street, Dover, at about 1500 BST on Wednesday.

Ambulance crews were called to the scene but he died on the way to the William Harvey Hospital.

Kent Police said the cause of the man's death would be the subject of a post-mortem examination.

A spokeswoman for Kent Police added: "The man, aged 31, was taken by ambulance to William Harvey Hospital but died en route.

"A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is helping police with their inquiries."
