Man held after body found at flat

Neighbours talk about the incident as police search the area

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a body at a flat in Kent.

Police were called to the property at Conyngham Close, in Ramsgate, on Wednesday afternoon after neighbours found the body of John Joyce, 64.

His death is being treated as suspicious and a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.

A 31-year-old local man was arrested at his home address a short time later and is being questioned by police.
