Woman charged over teenager death

A second person has been charged in connection with the death of a teenager who was found injured near public toilets in a park.

Maxine Liddle, 42, of Lewis Close, Faversham, has been charged with assisting an offender.

Mr Beaney, from Faversham, was found with a chest wound in a recreation ground in Faversham on Saturday.

A 20-year-old man was remanded in custody charged with the murder of 19-year-old Adam Beaney earlier this week.

Rickie Mount, of Edward Vinson Drive in Faversham, Kent, is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 22 June.

Ms Liddle has been bailed to appear at Sittingbourne Magistrates' Court on 17 June.

A woman, aged 59, who was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice has been until 17 June.

Mr Beaney died after being taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
