Body found in burnt-out vehicle

Crash investigators are examining a burnt-out car in Kent in which a body was found in the early hours.

The car fire on a roundabout on the A2990 New Thanet Way slip road, near Whitstable, was reported to the emergency services at about 0220 GMT.

The road has been closed for several hours while Kent Police serious collision unit and the fire service investigate the scene.

Police have advised drivers to avoid the area.
