Arrests follow teenager stabbing

Five people have been arrested over the stabbing of a teenager.

Kent Police said a 19-year-old was stabbed in Milton Square, Margate, at about 2015 GMT on Thursday.

The man was taken to the town's Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital for treatment, where his condition has been described as being stable.

Two 15-year-old boys, a girl aged 15, a 17-year-old girl and a man aged 20, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Officers said the five people arrested were known to the victim and "it was not a stranger assault".

Kent Police have asked anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
