Three men have been released after being questioned in connection with the murder of a cafe owner whose body was found at the business he owned in Kent.

The body of Andrew Cresswell, 51, from Pluckley, was found at Unit 2 on the Pivington Mill industrial estate, in Pluckley, early last Tuesday.

Police said the three local men were arrested on Friday and released on bail pending further inquiries.

Officers believe a weapon was used to kill Mr Cresswell.

In a fresh appeal on Friday, Det Ch Insp Maria Shepherd said Mr Cresswell was last seen on Monday afternoon.

Detectives want to speak to anyone who may have seen a suspicious vehicle or people near Pivington Mill, or who might have seen the murder victim on the day before he died.
