Girl, 14, missing with pet rats

Lola Lind
Police believe Lola could either be in Folkestone, Tunbridge Wells or Derby

A teenage girl who went missing more than a week ago was last seen carrying a cage holding her two pet rats.

Concerns are growing for the welfare of Lola Lind, 14, who disappeared when she left home in Hythe to go to Brockhill School, in Saltwood.

Kent Police said she was later seen at Sandling station at about 1330 BST on 23 September, the day she went missing, and she may have boarded a train.

She could be either in the Folkestone area, Tunbridge Wells or Derby.

Officers have urged anyone who recalls seeing a girl with a cage to contact them.

She is described as white, 5ft (1.5m) tall, of slim build with pierced ears and yellow metal hoops, brown eyes and long dark brown hair.

She was wearing a blue t-shirt, black trousers and a black jacket with a dragon image on the back, and could possibly be wearing a pink jumper and blue jeans.
