Serial rail sex offender sought

CCTV image of man police want to speak to
The man may have connections with Medway, Dartford and Croydon

Police are seeking a man who is being linked to a "prolific" series of sex offences on trains in Kent.

The culprit, who has short hair and wears glasses, has exposed himself to at least eight women mainly on the Gravesend to Lewisham line.

His offences date back as far as March 2007 and police have now released a CCTV image of a suspect.

British Transport Police (BTP) think he may have exposed himself to more women and have urged victims to come forward.

Det Con Andy Parkinson, of British Transport Police, said the most recent offence occurred in Dartford in June.

The man they want to contact is aged between 45 and 55 years old, with short or receding grey hair.

Mr Parkinson said: "The victims are aged between their early 20s to one woman in her mid 60s.

"The male we wish to speak with is believed to have connections with the Medway, Dartford and Croydon areas."
