Woman dies in collision with tree

A 22-year-old woman has died when her car span out of control and hit a tree.

The Ford Fiesta she was driving crashed on Church Hill, Dartford, in the early hours of Sunday morning. Kent Police said she died at the scene.

The woman, who was from the Dartford area, has not yet been named but her next-of-kin have been informed of her death.

A spokesperson for Kent Police, who are investigating the incident, said they did not know what caused the collision.
