Third man charged in murder case

Ted Shaxted died in hospital two weeks after he was attacked

A third man has been charged with the murder of a 36-year-old man who was attacked in his home in Kent.

Kelvin Horlock, 29, of Hatfield Road, Strood, appeared before Dartford magistrates on Thursday and was remanded in custody.

Ted Shaxted died in hospital in December two weeks after being attacked in his home in Northfleet. Two other men have been charged with his murder.

Mr Horlock will appear before Maidstone Crown Court next Friday.
