Man dies in 'suspicious' shooting

A 31-year-old man has died in a shooting incident in Kent which police say they are treating as suspicious.

Officers were called to a house in Lydden, Margate, in the early hours of Saturday after a report that a local man had received fatal injuries.

A Kent Police spokeswoman said an investigation had been launched into the incident, which involved firearms, but there was no danger to the public.

Anyone who has information about the shooting is asked to contact police.
