RSPCA appeal after cat shooting
A cat struggled home with a bullet lodged close to its spinal cord after it was shot with an air rifle, the RSPCA has said.

The RSPCA said the animal collapsed on his owner's doorstep in Westerham, Kent, after the incident on Sunday.

Owner Andrew Heywood took the black two-year-old cat, called Rubin, to a vet who removed the bullet.

The animal welfare charity appealed for information and said it would not hesitate to prosecute the offender.
