The trial has begun of two men accused of disturbing a dolphin off the east Kent coast.

Pipe fitter Michael Jukes, 26, and ground worker Daniel Buck, 25, both from Folkestone, appeared before magistrates in the town on Tuesday.

They are facing charges of disturbing the dolphin, known as Dave, under the Wildlife and Countryside Act.

Dave became a huge draw for tourists after being seen regularly in the sea off Folkestone last year.
