A man has been arrested over a "callous and senseless" attack on a man at a boat yard in Kent.

A 31-year-old suffered a fractured eye socket and severe head and facial injuries following an unprovoked assault in Allington near Maidstone.

The attack, which was captured on CCTV, happened when three offenders gained access to a private property.

The owner asked them to leave, but he was punched to the ground and continually kicked in the head.

Kent Police said on Tuesday morning that they had made an arrest in connection with assault.
