Twiggy Hawes cradled Christopher Alaneme as he died

A former pub landlady has told how she held a stabbed 18-year-old in her arms as his life ebbed away in a Kent town.
Twiggy Haws went to Christopher Alaneme's aid after a street fracas in Sheerness between a group of locals and visitors from London on 21 April.
Mr Alaneme lay dying on a patch of grass after being knifed in the stomach.
"He was so brave - he wasn't moaning, there was no panic. He was as good as gold," said Ms Haws.
Bystander Mark Davies was also attacked after he crossed the road from the Bar One pub to see what was going on.
Connolly was told he would serve at least 15 years for murder

He survived severe injuries from five wounds he sustained.
Ms Haws said along with a doorman, she was with Christopher as he passed away.
"We were talking to Chris to try and keep him aware," she said.
"He was really strong. He spoke to me about going to see his mother the next day.
"He was speaking to the doorman about his favourite groups - 50 Cent - and things like that.
"He was as good as gold."

He [Christopher] wasn't the type to have a fight with someone willy nilly

Peter Connolly, 31, of Peckham, south-east London, has been jailed for life for murdering Mr Alaneme, to serve a minimum of 15 years.
He was also jailed for 10 years, to run concurrently, for wounding Mr Davies, a taxi driver.
Mr Alaneme had moved to Sheerness from London to seek a better life.
His mother, Agatha Alaneme, said after his death that the community had welcomed him with open arms.
His friends paid tribute to him as a caring individual, but said he could stick up for himself.
"He would never hurt anyone," said Aimee Page.
"He wasn't the type to have a fight with someone willy nilly.
"But if someone was horrible to him, he would be horrible back - like anyone would."
