Cathedral service for guide dogs
Guide dogs and their owners, as well as puppies in training, have been the guests of honour at a thanksgiving service held at Rochester Cathedral.

The event marked the work of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association in Kent.

The charity's staff members and volunteers from across the county were also joined at the service by the Mayor of Maidstone, Councillor Richard Ash.

Spokeswoman Jane Stevenson said: "We wanted to celebrate the very special work that a Guide Dog does."
