Man accused of cab driver murder

Gian Chand Bajar's body was found in St Benedict's Avenue

A 20-year-old man has been charged with murder after a taxi driver was run over by his own cab.

Gian Chand Bajar, 71, died after being attacked and run over by his taxi in Gravesham.

The self-employed driver died in hospital after being found injured in St Benedicts Avenue on Wednesday.

Luke Aujila, of Dorchester Road, Gravesend, has been charged with his murder and is due to appear before Medway magistrates on Monday.
