Alan Bond will stay in jail until he is no longer a risk to the public
A man has been jailed for 10 years after pleading guilty to the rape of a young woman in a Kent car park.

Alan Bond, 35, from Tonbridge Road, Maidstone, was sentenced at the town's crown court on Tuesday after admitting two counts of rape.

He was given an indeterminate sentence for public protection, with a minimum term of five years handed down.

A 22-year-old woman was raped in a car park off Old Tovil Road, Maidstone, on the morning of 26 November last year.

Bond was also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life.
