Pair arrested after whelk dispute
Two fishermen have been arrested after a dispute over fishing grounds and the harvesting of whelks in Sussex.

The coastguard ordered two fishing boats to be put into separate harbours after a row started off the coast of Shoreham, Sussex, on Thursday.

One was ordered to Shoreham and the other to Littlehampton. Two men were arrested at Shoreham.

A Sussex Police spokesman said they believed the dispute was over fishing grounds and the harvesting of whelks.
